My concern? If we're the 4th strictest state, I fear for our future! In other words, we should be a lot stricter. I have great friends who were raised the right way - in a strict, disciplined home. They are the most amazing, well-rounded, respectful, intelligient, and morally-sound people around. Hopefully all of us have friends like that. I know many kids that are being raised in a "strict" household but know MANY, MANY more that aren't. These spoiled, undisciplined kids show little (if any) respect for their elders, expect everything to go their way, want everything RIGHT NOW, and are lazy in the workplace. I can't imagine what the kids are like in states that are further down the line of ranking. Watch out! It's a shame to know these kids will be running our country someday. They've got the brains but little discipline and regard for others. Let's start parenting again! Your career is important but not as important as the well-being and growth of healthy children.
